You will gather information from members, providers, adjusters, attorneys, and other parties, review payments, and negotiate when appropriate.

This remote role reports to a supervisor. Typical duties include contacting involved parties by phone or email, documenting conversations, creating and managing liens, and balancing a high-volume

Qualifications

• 2+ years in subrogation claims handling within healthcare or related insurance.
• 2+ years phone customer service experience dealing with escalated situations involving attorneys, providers, and/or members etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel to create forms and reports.

Responsibilities

• Investigate accident or claim events to identify subrogation applicability.
• Contact involved parties by phone or email to gather details.
• Review claim payments and create or update liens as needed.
• Negotiate lien repayment amounts with attorneys or other parties.
• Maintain thorough documentation in company systems.
• Work remotely with occasional travel to Humana offices for training.
• Meet monthly productivity and recovery targets while managing high-volume workload.
