Reliant Capital Solutions, LLC is hiring a Remote Student Loan Recovery Specialist for Tennessee. The role involves engaging consumers to manage delinquent loans, using a consultative approach to identify suitable solutions, and negotiating balances in the best interests of all parties.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED required; College Degree a plus but not required.
• 1+ years’ experience preferred in Collections, Sales, Telemarketing, Medical Billing, Call Center, Customer Service, and Banking.

About This Role

• Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with (two late nights required) at 10:00am to 7:00pm EST and 12:30pm to 9:00 pm, Occasional Saturday morning hours
• Engage consumers and assist them with managing their delinquent accounts
• Using a consultative approach, help consumers identify the most suitable solutions
• Negotiate to resolve the balance due in the best interests of all parties
• Create a sense of urgency using a customer service demeanor
• Remain compliant, positive and professional at all times

• Hourly pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour, with the potential for a higher base rate based on experience, plus uncapped performance commission!

What You’ll Do

• Provide voluntary methods for customers to best meet their financial needs
• Act as the main point of contact for borrowers to result their delinquent student loans
• Work with customers to obtain necessary documentation and information relative to their current circumstances by levering technology and customer service skills
• Sustain proper follow up and maintenance of collection records
• Meet the daily and monthly goals as assigned by Reliant’s management team
• Maintain targeted performance goals for collections
• Remain up to date on internal and external industry changes
• Properly document all processing of borrower’s accounts
• Utilize technology for adequately obtaining borrower contact and location information
• Adhere to both internal and industry wide compliance regulations
• Any other responsibilities assigned by management

What You’ll Need

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• HS Diploma or GED required; College Degree a plus but not required
• Punctuality (Must have reliable attendance)
• 1 + years’ experience preferred in Collections, Sales, Telemarketing, Medical Billing, Call Center, Customer Service, and Banking
• Must attend full training schedule
• Ability to commit to working a full time schedule with weekends as assigned
• Coachable (Must have willingness to learn)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong verbal communication skills (ability to persuade and negotiate)
• Computer skills: document calls and navigate software packages, databases and the internet
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high level of trustworthiness
• Ability to maintain professionalismwithin the work environment
