Job summary

Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts is seeking a remote customer service specialist to support current and former students with federal student loans. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails, guiding borrowers through exit counseling and repayment options.

This role requires accurate record-keeping, proactive follow-up, and collaboration with loan servicers and the Department of Education, with a focus on meeting weekly metrics and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to current and former students regarding federal student loans.
• Assist students with exit counseling requirements and IDR processes.
• Guide borrowers through repayment options and connect with loan servicers.
• Maintain and update student files; meet weekly/monthly metrics.
• Serve as liaison between borrowers and loan servicers or the Department of Education.
