Job summary

Kimmel & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Structural & Miscellaneous Steel to own projects from detailing through fabrication, erection, and closeout.

This remote role requires coordinating with preconstruction, detailing, fabrication, purchasing, safety, and administration teams to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable execution. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in steel projects and strong communication, leadership, and client management skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
• 3–5+ years as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in structural steel.
• Experience with design-assist and design-build project delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and general contractors after turnover.
• Coordinate engineering, design, and detailing to manage releases, RFIs, and submittals.
• Align procurement, fabrication, deliveries, and erection sequencing with schedules.
• Develop cost forecasts, oversee progress billing, and manage cash flow.
• Drive project closeout and final billing activities.
