Kimmel & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Structural & Miscellaneous Steel to drive projects from detailing through fabrication, erection and closeout.

This remote opportunity suits a steel project management professional who understands the complete lifecycle and how drawing releases, fabrication schedules, material procurement, and erection sequencing impact performance. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the PM will oversee project schedules, budgets,

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience managing structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager within structural steel.
• Solid understanding of the full structural steel lifecycle: detailing, fabrication, procurement, delivery, erection.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary contact for clients and general contractors after turnover.
• Coordinate engineering, detailing, and submittals; manage drawing releases and RFIs.
• Align procurement, fabrication releases, deliveries, and erection sequencing with schedules.
• Direct and support Assistant Project Managers and project coordinators.
• Coordinate vendors, sub-fabricators, and erection subcontractors.
• Manage scope changes, contracts, purchase orders, and administration.
• Develop cost forecasts, oversee progress billing, and manage cash flow.
• Monitor schedules and budgets to identify and resolve issues.
• Drive project closeout, retention releases, and final billing.
