Kimmel & Associates Inc. seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead structural and miscellaneous steel projects from detailing through fabrication, erection, and closeout.

This remote role covers projects across the Western United States, with travel as required. You will report to the Director of Project Management and collaborate with preconstruction, detailing, fabrication, purchasing, safety, and project administration teams to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable outcomes.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience managing structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager within structural steel.
• Strong understanding of the full structural steel lifecycle: detailing, fabrication, procurement, delivery, erection.
• Experience with design-assist and design-build project delivery preferred.
• Procore document control and project management workflows.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and general contractors after preconstruction turnover.
• Coordinate engineering, design teams, and detailing personnel to manage drawing releases, model reviews, RFIs, and submittals.
• Align material procurement, fabrication releases, deliveries, and erection sequencing with project schedules.
• Direct and support assigned Assistant Project Managers and project coordinators.
• Coordinate vendors, sub-fabricators, and erection subcontractors throughout project execution.
• Manage project scope changes, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and contract administration.
• Develop monthly cost forecasts, oversee progress billing, and manage project cash flow.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall performance to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Coordinate field issue resolution with erection teams, safety personnel, and quality teams.
• Participate in project meetings and jobsite visits to maintain alignment and address project needs.
• Maintain project documentation and document control through Procore.
• Drive final billing, retention release, and project closeout activities.
