Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd partners with an established structural steel fabricator to recruit a Remote Project Manager. You will oversee large-scale structural steel projects from detailing through delivery, while working remotely and coordinating with multiple teams.

This role offers $90,000-$125,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits, including medical coverage and a 401(k). Travel is project-based and remote work is supported with long-term progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of structural steel fabrication or steel project management experience.
• Strong understanding of the structural steel fabrication process.
• Experience managing large, complex structural steel projects around $10M in value.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Experience coordinating fabrication, detailing, and erection activities.
• Strong understanding of project budgets and schedules; change orders.
• Confident communication and ability to manage projects independently.
• Willingness to travel when projects require on-site attention.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel fabrication projects from detailing through fabrication, delivery, erection, and closeout.
• Own project schedules, budgets, and overall delivery.
• Collaborate with detailing teams, fabrication shops, general contractors, and erectors.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, materials, and production schedules.
• Manage change orders, project costs, and client expectations.
• Resolve project challenges and keep work moving on schedule.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Travel to project sites or attend meetings when hands-on involvement is needed.
