Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. seeks an On-Site Project Manager / Steel Field Lead to support large structural steel projects across the United States, including major data center work. This hands-on role involves direct collaboration with erection crews, subcontractors and the project management team.

Projects last about 12 months, requiring travel and ownership of steel packages in the field. A competitive salary accompanies a $220/day per diem, monthly flight home, and mileage expensed, with 15 days

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in structural steel construction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field teams on complex projects.
• Willingness to travel across the United States for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate steel deliveries and material laydown.
• Work directly with erection foremen and crews.
• Track progress, manpower and site readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors and other trades.
• Resolve missing, incorrect or problematic steel.
• Communicate fabrication and detailing issues.
• Track inspections and punch-list items.
• Review extra-work tickets.
