Job summary

Agent is seeking a Full-Time Remote Structural Steel Estimator to take ownership of the estimating process and work closely with leadership to prepare accurate project estimates.

Responsibilities include reviewing architectural and structural drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, obtaining vendor quotations, and using Bluebeam, PlanSwift and Procore to support bid quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–12+ years of U.S. commercial construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience estimating structural steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals.
• Proven ability to obtain vendor quotations and manage material pricing.
• Proficient with Bluebeam, PlanSwift or Procore and similar estimating software.
• Excellent English communication and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for structural steel fabrication projects.
• Review drawings, specs and bid documents to determine quantities.
• Takeoffs using estimating software and manual methods as needed.
• Gather vendor quotations for steel packages, materials and subcontracted work.
• Collaborate with leadership to align estimates with profitability goals.
• Maintain organized bid documentation and support project transitions.
