Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking a Structural Engineer Inspector for a remote-based role with travel to project sites.

You will perform visual inspections of structural elements and support the Structural Engineer of Record, contractors, and project teams to ensure code compliance and design intent. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or certificate in engineering, some field inspection experience, and ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of experience in structural inspection preferred; no experience accepted.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work remotely with field visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observations and inspections of structural elements.
• Serve as Special Inspector on applicable projects per IBC.
• Prepare well-written, organized inspection reports.
• Review shop drawings and provide markups to SEoR.
