Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. seeks a civil/structural engineer with 5+ years of field investigation experience to join our forensic team in the United States.

You will assess causes and origins of structural failures and building envelope issues, and produce clear oral and written findings. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with other experts, provide expert testimony when needed, and ensure safety and diligence on site.

Qualifications

• Civil or structural engineering degree or higher.
• P.E. license or EIT with ability to obtain P.E. license quickly.
• NCEE record preferred.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Project management and/or field investigation experience preferred.
• Licenses or certifications may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Performs investigation and analysis of properties to resolve claims.
• Performs forensic assignments in civil/structural engineering per client scope.
• Preparation of oral and written reports; expert testimony as needed.
• Manages multiple projects; coordinates with other experts to produce client reports.
