Job summary

Olivotto & Young Consulting Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our remote, full-time team. You will perform structural analyses, prepare design documents, and create CAD drawings for residential, commercial, and specialty projects while ensuring code compliance.

Collaborating with project teams and clients from a distance, you will review requirements, coordinate with disciplines, and contribute to technical reports and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Strong technical skills in structural/civil engineering with code experience.
• Experience using CAD tools to prepare plans and details.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses and calculations.
• Prepare design documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients remotely.
• Review project requirements and coordinate with disciplines.
• Contribute to technical reports and specifications.
• Assist in project planning and respond to RFIs.
• Participate in quality control checks for design accuracy.
