Job summary

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, EIT with PE licensure progress, and proficiency in CAD/Revit. We offer flexible work arrangements including hybrid or remote options for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Experience in structural engineering or related building design required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; candidates should be actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or have successfully passed the PE exam.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
• Proficiency in structural drafting software; experience with CAD and Revit is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and structural design standards.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building systems and related infrastructure projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with the development of design concepts and engineering solutions for new and existing structures.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other project stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Support project managers in maintaining project schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects and high-quality client service.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.
