Job summary

LJB Inc. in the Safety Practice is seeking a Mid-level Structural Engineer to lead fall protection design projects for clients nationwide. You will analyze, design, and plan structural components and systems while coordinating with design staff and project teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering, 5+ years of engineering experience, and CAD experience (Revit/Bluebeam). RAM or similar software experience is needed; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, architectural, or mechanical engineering (structural emphasis preferred).
• 5+ years of engineering experience in structural projects; fall protection preferred.
• CAD experience (Revit and Bluebeam preferred); RAM or similar software experience.

Responsibilities

• Document existing conditions to accommodate fall protection system additions.
• Analyze structural components for fall protection systems (steel framing, cold-formed steel, concrete).
• Develop layouts of fall protection systems and coordinate with the existing structure.
