Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join its Safety team. You will analyze, design, plan, and create structural components to achieve fall protection designs for clients across various industries.

Ideal candidates hold a civil/architectural/mechanical degree with some engineering experience, and are familiar with Revit, CAD, and RAM. Travel up to 75% is required, with growth opportunities and OSHA/ANSI training provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, architectural, or mechanical engineering required; structural emphasis preferred.
New graduate to 3+ years of engineering experience; fall protection preferred.
CAD experience (Revit and Bluebeam preferred), RAM or other structural analysis software experience.

Responsibilities

Document structural systems in existing facilities.
Design complex fall protection systems using fundamental structural engineering principles.
Analyze building components to support fall protection systems (steel framing, cold-formed steel, concrete).
Perform tasks within Revit and CAD to execute engineering tasks.
Assist with preparation of construction documents.
Travel to US locations (50–75%).
Understand/Training in OSHA/ANSI fall protection standards.
