Job summary

LJB Inc. in Houston is seeking an Entry-level Structural Engineer to contribute to fall protection design for industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. You will analyze, design, plan, and document structural components and systems under guidance from senior engineers.

The role requires a civil/architectural/mechanical engineering background, proficiency with CAD (Revit/Bluebeam) and RAM, and readiness to travel up to 50–75% to US sites. We promote safety and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, architectural, or mechanical engineering.
• New graduate to 3+ years of engineering experience in structural projects (fall protection preferred).
• CAD experience (Revit and Bluebeam preferred), RAM or other structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Document structural systems in existing facilities.
• Design complex fall protection systems using fundamental structural engineering principles.
• Analyze building components used to support fall protection systems.
• Perform tasks within Revit and other CAD to execute assigned engineering tasks.
• Assist with the preparation of construction documents.
• Access locations at height and use fall protection equipment as required.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training and professional development.
