Job summary

LJB Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior-level Structural Engineer to lead fall protection projects within our Safety Practice.

You will analyze, design, plan, and fabricate structural components and systems, coordinating with clients and internal teams to develop safer, code-compliant solutions. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 8+ years of experience in structural engineering (preferably fall protection), proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 8+ years in structural engineering, preferably in fall protection.
• CAD experience with Revit and Bluebeam; RAM/STRAP or other structural analysis software experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead fall protection projects; manage internal teams; develop calculations and construction documents.
• Oversee QC of project calculations and deliverables; coordinate with clients and project stakeholders.
• Travel to US-based locations as needed; stay current with OSHA/ANSI fall protection standards.
