Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to support Asset Integrity in a REMOTE WORK capacity in the United States. The role centers on structural evaluation, repair engineering, and long-term asset management planning to help clients make risk-informed decisions about their structural assets.

You will validate inspector findings, develop repair designs, and coordinate with teams to ensure code-compliant solutions that align with client requirements and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional structural engineering experience in industrial environments.
• Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and/or foundation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural asset evaluations by applying engineering judgment to assess condition, identify deficiencies, and prioritize corrective actions.
• Review and validate structural inspection findings, translating field data into engineering evaluations and recommendations.
• Prepare engineering reports, condition assessments, and technical recommendations for clients and project teams.
• Develop repair scopes and capital recommendations based on evaluations and client priorities.
• Support long-term asset management planning through condition assessments, maintenance strategies, and capital planning.
