Placements24's client is expanding its remote engineering capabilities and seeks a Remote Structural Design Engineer specializing in building systems. This fully remote role allows you to contribute from anywhere within South Africa, focusing on the structural design and analysis of diverse building projects to ensure safety and code compliance.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers in a virtual environment, prepare drawings and calculations using ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro or Revit

Formación

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• PE/Pr Eng registration with ECSA preferred.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Revit Structure or similar.
• Knowledge of seismic design and international codes.

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze structural elements for buildings including foundations, beams, columns, and slabs.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications using relevant software.
• Ensure compliance with national and international codes and project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers in a virtual environment.
• Provide remote technical support during construction.
