Job summary

Sorella Labs in New York is seeking a Strategy & Partnerships Associate to drive business development and strategic relationships within the DeFi ecosystem. You will translate complex Web3 solutions into compelling value propositions and help shape go-to-market strategies for Angstrom.

This full-time role supports remote work with a preference for a hybrid setup at our Soho, Manhattan office. The ideal candidate has Web3/DeFi experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related Web3/DeFi role.
• Strong connectivity within the DeFi or venture capital space, with an ability to leverage relationships to drive business outcomes.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals and build lasting partnerships.
• Passion for decentralized finance, blockchain technology, and the evolving landscape of financial markets.
• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous work environment, both as part of a team and independently.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with a focus on long-term growth and partnership potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with market makers, liquidity providers, and other key stakeholders in the DeFi space.
• Drive business development efforts to promote and expand adoption of our Angstrom product, focusing on converting partners within the DeFi ecosystem.
• Collaborate with internal teams to distill complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions for potential partners.
• Lead outreach and negotiations with potential partners, ensuring alignment with our long-term growth strategy.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that partnership opportunities are integrated into product development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DeFi, Web3, and the broader blockchain ecosystem to identify new business opportunities and strategies.
• Help shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for Angstrom and other related products.
• Represent Sorella Labs at industry conferences, events, and meetings, establishing strong relationships across the ecosystem.
