The role blends customer insight, market strategy, and competitive analysis to shape product direction and identify growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will transform research into actionable plans, collaborate with Product, Editorial, Marketing and Sales, and drive strategic initiatives with senior leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Experience interpreting customer, market or competitor research and translating findings into practical recommendations.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong project-management skills and the ability to coordinate work across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver customer, market and competitor research using surveys, interviews, data and external sources.
• Analyze evidence to identify customer needs, market trends and opportunities for growth.
• Support go-to-market strategies for new products and initiatives with target audiences and value propositions.
• Produce competitive assessments and explain product positioning and where propositions can be strengthened.
• Support business cases, investments and annual planning by assessing demand, opportunities, costs and risks.
• Translate research into clear recommendations and create executive-ready materials.
• Create high-quality presentations, reports and briefing materials for senior leaders.
