Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Manager of Strategic Sourcing to lead a team of sourcing professionals and optimize services operations for clients and internal stakeholders. This role focuses on developing strategic initiatives, supplier relationships, and program execution across regional and national scales.

You will analyze market trends, support RFP/bid processes, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with Legal and Risk Management to align contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university and/or 5+ years of strategic sourcing or related experience; MBA preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
• Project management and business transition experience preferred.
• Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, strong analytical ability, and proven ability to lead teams in a decentralized environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of sourcing professionals to strategic outcomes.
• Be a subject matter expert in support of JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.
• Closely participate with clients and Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to drive benefits.
• Perform periodic market trend analysis in the specific categories; analyzing supplier base, industry changes, etc.
• Report analysis to Supply Chain and business stakeholders in a client-ready form.
• Responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and communication of regional and national programs.
• Support and guide the Category Management team’s supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.
• Provide management, instruction, and follow-up in support of operations teams' RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes.
• Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations.
