Premier, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Director to own sourcing strategy and negotiations for a service line, ensuring member value prior to award and leading world‑class contracting initiatives.

The role drives category strategy, negotiation playbooks, and collaboration with category and service line leaders, while aligning with legal and compliance standards and leveraging AI‑assisted preparation to shorten cycles.

Formación

• Experience in complex, multi‑issue commercial negotiations with category strategy.
• Ability to develop and implement category priorities, contracts and tiers.
• Strong negotiation plan development including BATNA, concessions and alternatives.
• Proven supplier market intelligence, cost drivers and competitive positioning.
• Experience engaging clinical stakeholders and value analysis teams.

Responsabilidades

• Builds comprehensive sourcing and negotiation strategy for the service line.
• Leads or co‑leads key supplier negotiations with category leaders.
• Negotiate terms beyond unit price (fees, tiers, coverage, escalators).
• Directs responses to supplier price increases with cost evidence and market data.
• Develops credible alternatives and second supplier options.
• Grow contract revenue and forecast admin/service fees; support analytics and AI prep tools.
