Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Manager, Client Development to drive revenue growth for Vestcom Media Solutions across a portfolio of mid-market retail accounts. The role emphasizes strategic account leadership, high-level partnerships, and data-driven value storytelling to secure executive buy-in and scale solutions.

The ideal candidate will oversee a cross-functional team, design targeted growth plans, and expand adoption of retail media networks.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years providing enterprise-level, multi-stakeholder outsourcing strategies or solutions within the retail sector.
Building and nurturing influential partnerships with senior executive leadership at major retailers.
Experience in marketing services, technology firms, or complex industrial sales, with leadership or business development exposure.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.

Responsibilities

Meet annual revenue objectives for a portfolio of five or more mid-market accounts.
Direct the overarching client development strategy and strategic planning for designated accounts.
Construct comprehensive revenue projections aligned with client goals.
Cultivate and expand partnerships with senior executive leadership in retail.
Negotiate and execute contracts to enhance profitability and scale growth.
Supervise, recruit, and mentor a cross-functional sales team.
Design and implement creative client development strategies across accounts.
Establish yourself as a primary advisor for executive decisions on shelf-edge and in-store media.
Collaborate with Strategy, Solutions, and Shopper teams to build account growth plans.
Secure new business by obtaining executive buy-in and aligning stakeholders.
Match Vestcom’s emerging solutions with opportunities in accounts.
Listen to identify client challenges and partner with teams to deliver solutions.
Present and defend the value proposition of platforms to executives.
Coordinate with shelfAdz group to achieve revenue targets.
Provide accurate sales forecasting for network components.
