Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Strategic Project Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of coding data pipelines used to train frontier AI models. The role is remote, collaborating with AI Lab clients and software engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable execution.

You will drive pipeline automation, coordinate across multiple teams, and define clear quality standards. A startup mindset with ownership and execution is valued in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/CE or related field.
• 2+ years leading technical projects or data workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with metrics.
• Ability to translate client requirements into scalable workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of coding data pipelines, ensuring quality and timelines.
• Drive automation of pipeline workflows, including task generation, validation, QC, and reporting.
• Coordinate across experts, reviewers, MTS, and clients for execution consistency.
• Define task specs, golden samples, and rubrics to establish quality standards.
• Track and optimize pipeline health across quality, AHT, throughput, and delivery metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement based on client feedback and performance data.
