Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead, Finance to own end-to-end initiatives with our AI Lab customers. You will translate complex finance needs into concrete project specifications, design finance-focused data pipelines, and align Operations and Finance experts for rapid deployment.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams, excellent stakeholder communication, and a bias toward execution in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Immediate impact and equity eligible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading complex projects or finance initiatives.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear project plans.
• Excellent communication with senior finance stakeholders.
• Comfortable in fast-paced startup environments.
• Experience with data pipelines or finance workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery from framing to delivery.
• Translate customer needs into finance-focused project specifications.
• Design and improve finance pipelines for accuracy, usability, quality, and scalability.
• Align Operations and Finance domain experts for rapid deployment.
• Set delivery milestones and drive a tight execution cadence.
• Own client communication, keeping it clear, direct, and consistent.
• Manage Finance domain experts and project leads to ensure quality and delivery.
