Job summary

Rula is a remote-first company hiring a Procurement Director to lead strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations nationwide. You will own the end-to-end procurement cycle, manage the Zip platform, and drive cost efficiency with clear terms and strong service levels.

You will partner with Finance to align purchases with budgets, build spend models, and implement auditable renewal systems across Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 7 years dedicated to strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to deliver value and mitigate risk.
• Strong spend analysis, modeling, and budgeting skills aligned to company budgets.
• Collaborates effectively with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance teams.
• Experience creating auditable renewal tracking and contract obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for the company, from intake to contract renewal.
• Own Zip procurement platform, improve intake routing and approval speed.
• Develop financial models and ensure purchasing aligns with budget.
• Establish proactive renewal tracking and auditable vendor commitments.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance on business needs.
