Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking an Associate Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives, to join our Integrated Care Initiatives team, with flexibility for remote candidates. Reporting to the Executive Lead, Strategic Initiatives, you will support planning, coordination, communications, and performance tracking for the Heart Valve Initiative (HVI) and other key projects.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded position supporting the Integrated Care Initiatives team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Typically requires less than two years of related work experience; two to four years preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to synthesize information and work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn program tracking, collaboration, dashboard, or CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Support program planning and execution, maintaining work plans and priorities.
• Coordinate activities across workstreams and track timelines and dependencies.
• Develop concise summaries and briefing materials for decision-making.
• Coordinate communications with internal teams, volunteers, sponsors, and external partners.
• Track milestones, performance indicators, and prepare reports and dashboards.
