Job summary
Cardinal Health Innovative Care Pharmacy seeks a Director of Business Development to drive growth in specialty pharmacy services for cell, gene, and rare disease therapies. This executive role focuses on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts, operating as a trusted advisor to manufacturers and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred.
- 5-8 years of healthcare sales experience preferred.
- 3+ years selling specialty pharmacy services preferred.
- General and clinical understanding of the Specialty market, including cell and gene therapies.
- Proven ability to drive results amid ambiguity in a growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Grow the number of contracts with innovative care pharmacy and target manufacturers.
- Secure relationships with senior leadership in targeted pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Develop deep knowledge of customer organizations and product portfolios.
- Lead comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and manage client relationships.
- Collaborate with the 3PL team to align services and strategies.
- Prepare price quotations and participate in bid defenses as needed.
- Travel up to 30% and work effectively in a remote setting.
