Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Compensation Partner to deliver corporate compensation policies and programs across sectors. You will advise leadership and HR on base pay, incentives, regulatory matters, and market analytics, while managing day-to-day operations and projects within Total Rewards.

You will collaborate with HR partners, talent acquisition, and business leaders to ensure consistent application of the job architecture, compliance with laws, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in Compensation or a related field.
• Thorough knowledge of compensation philosophies and practices.
• Thorough knowledge of FLSA compliance, rules and application.
• Understanding of HR systems, market survey submissions and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compensation partner and trusted advisor for assigned business organizations.
• Be a strategic partner within the sector on implementation and support of compensation practices with HR Partners and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate and approve salary adjustments using sound compensation fundamentals.
• Ensure proper alignment to the Leidos job architecture for all existing employees and new hires.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, legal statutes, and internal controls.
• Evaluate and approve bonus and incentive requests for compliance and reasonableness.
• Proactively evaluate pay practices for alignment with equity and pay trends using market insights.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis and increase efficiency.
• Conduct FLSA classification and exemption analysis for wage/hour compliance.
• Develop audience-ready presentations and materials to communicate compensation decisions to leadership.
