Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly capable Communication Specialist to develop and coordinate internal and external communications that support organizational goals and engage stakeholders.

You will create clear messaging across digital, written, and virtual channels, supervise executive communications, and collaborate with leadership, HR, Marketing, and operations in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, content development, marketing communications, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong editing, proofreading, and content-development abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communication projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and digital collaboration tools.
• Experience working with remote teams and virtual communication platforms.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and initiatives.
• Coordinate communication plans for internal programs and strategic initiatives.
• Draft, edit, and proofread emails, newsletters, presentations, and reports.
• Create materials for employees, clients, partners, and leadership across channels.
• Support internal communications related to company updates and initiatives.
• Prepare executive communications, announcements, and leadership briefings.
• Coordinate external messaging with departments and leadership.
• Manage digital channels including email, intranet, newsletters, and collaboration tools.
• Monitor and optimize communication campaigns and engagement metrics.
• Support organizational change communications and stakeholder engagement.
