Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. seeks a Communications Specialist on a full-time contract basis to develop and deliver clear internal and external communications that support objectives, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and enhance brand messaging.

You will write, edit, and coordinate across teams, manage calendars and campaigns, and translate complex information into audience-appropriate messaging for newsletters, presentations, intranet sites, websites, and social channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, internal communications, content development, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to grammar, tone, clarity, and detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including announcements, newsletters, presentations, reports, and organizational updates.
• Develop communication strategies and messaging aligned with business objectives, organizational priorities, and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, human resources, operations, and other departments to identify communication requirements and develop effective messaging.
• Translate complex business, technical, operational, or organizational information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communications.
• Manage communication calendars, schedules, deadlines, and distribution plans across multiple initiatives.
