Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist on a full‑time contract basis to develop and deliver clear, engaging communications that support organizational goals and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

The role requires strong writing, attention to detail, and experience across multiple channels. You will collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, and operations while translating complex information into concise messaging and maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, English, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, PR, or internal/external content.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create clear, audience-appropriate messaging for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with content development across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications such as announcements, newsletters, and updates.
• Create communication strategies aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, and operations to identify messaging requirements.
• Translate complex information into clear, concise communications for varied audiences.
• Manage communication calendars, deadlines, and distribution plans across initiatives.
• Draft executive communications, talking points, and presentations for leadership.
• Support internal comms to improve employee engagement and alignment.
• Develop and maintain communication materials, templates, and guidelines.
• Coordinate comms for initiatives, changes, projects, and events.
• Review materials for accuracy, tone, grammar, and brand adherence.
• Develop content for emails, intranet, websites, and social media.
