Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist for a full-time contract role in a hybrid/remote setup. You will develop, write, and coordinate clear internal and external communications to support organizational objectives and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

You will translate complex information into audience-appropriate messaging, manage calendars, and collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, and operations to ensure branding compliance and consistency across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, internal communications, content development, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional grammar, tone, and detail.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
• Experience writing/editing professional communications, reports, presentations, newsletters, announcements, and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications across announcements, newsletters, presentations, reports, and updates.
• Develop communication strategies and messaging aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, HR, operations, and other departments to identify messaging requirements.
• Translate complex information into clear, concise communications for diverse audiences.
• Manage communication calendars, deadlines, and distribution plans across multiple initiatives.
• Draft executive communications, leadership announcements, employee updates, talking points, and briefings.
• Support internal communication initiatives to improve engagement and organizational alignment.
• Create and maintain communication materials, templates, FAQs, and resources.
• Coordinate communications for initiatives, changes, projects, and events.
• Review and edit materials for accuracy, tone, grammar, and branding standards.
• Develop content for digital channels: email, intranet, websites, newsletters, and social media.
