Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a professional Communications Specialist on a full-time contract basis to develop, coordinate, and deliver clear, engaging internal and external communications that support organizational objectives and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, internal communications, content development, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to grammar, tone, and detail.
• Ability to develop clear, engaging communications for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience creating communications for reports, newsletters, and digital content.
• Knowledge of communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and messaging strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications across multiple channels.
• Create communication strategies and messaging aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments to identify communication needs.
• Translate complex information into concise, audience-appropriate content.
• Manage calendars, schedules, and distribution plans.
• Draft executive communications, leadership updates, and presentations.
• Support employee engagement and organizational alignment initiatives.
• Maintain communication templates, guidelines, FAQs, and resources.
• Coordinate communications for initiatives, projects, and events.
• Review materials for accuracy, tone, and consistency.
