Career Group Search is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to shape the next chapter with a focus on building models and a strategic financial perspective for growth. This is not a traditional P&L-management role, but a position that informs leadership decisions on where to invest and how to grow.

The role is fully remote with quarterly travel for leadership meetings, reports to the CEO, and starts as soon as possible. Compensation ranges from $250K to $300K plus discretionary bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic finance or corporate development.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Experience in lean, high-growth, unstructured environments, ideally in media.
• Hands-on contributor with strategic and execution responsibilities.
• Collaborative, service-oriented approach with CEO and leaders.
• Fluency with AI.

Responsibilities

• Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
• Build models for new revenue and investments.
• Translate CEO direction into scenarios and recommendations.
• Partner with business unit leaders as trusted advisor.
• Support corporate development for capital-efficient growth.
• Apply practical AI fluency to finance and operations.
