Career Group Search is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to shape the next chapter with a focus on building models and a strategic financial perspective for growth. This is not a traditional P&L-management role, but a position that informs leadership decisions on where to invest and how to grow.

The role is fully remote with quarterly travel for leadership meetings, reports to the CEO, and starts as soon as possible. Compensation ranges from $250K to $300K plus discretionary bonus and equity.

• 10+ years in strategic finance or corporate development.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Experience in lean, high-growth, unstructured environments, ideally in media.

Growing digital media company is seeking a CFO to help shape its next chapter. This is not a traditional P&L-management role: it is about building the models and financial perspective that help leadership decide where to invest and how to grow.

What You'll Do

• Own annual planning: set budgets and targets, run forecasting, and update KPIs monthly
• Build business/financial models for new revenue streams and long-term investments, including the indirect, multi-benefit economics typical of media
• Take strategic direction from the CEO and turn it into clear scenarios and recommendations
• Partner with business unit leaders as a trusted advisor
• Support corporate development thinking suited to a capital-efficient company
• Bring practical AI fluency to how finance and the business operate

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in strategic finance or corporate development
• Strong business/financial modeling skills
• Experience in lean, high-growth, unstructured environments, ideally in the media space
• A hands-on, scrappy style: this is an individual-contributor seat, both strategic and executional
• A collaborative, service-oriented approach to working with the CEO, leadership team, and GMs
• Fluency with AI
