Job summary

MedImpact is seeking an Account Executive I (PBM) for remote work in the United States. You will manage complex client relationships, oversee renewals and upsell opportunities, and lead the account service team toward strategic goals while coordinating with subject matter experts. Travel up to 35% may be required.

The role emphasizes high autonomy, renewal negotiations, and collaboration across the account team to optimize client outcomes and MedImpact’s revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university.
• Three to seven years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registered Pharmacist in the State of California or equivalent state preferred; licensing may be required.
• Outstanding knowledge of health benefits and government prescription programs.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills; strong computer and analytic skills; MS Office and internal reporting tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage book of business toward fiscal revenue targets.
• Develop and manage the account team’s annual strategic plan for the book.
• Ensure client satisfaction and retention through demonstrable results.
• Lead renewal presentations and coordinate pricing terms.
• Support implementation and contract terms for assigned clients.
• Negotiate and manage contracts throughout the lifecycle.
• Build internal relationships to realize the full potential of the book.
