Job summary

Speakman, part of Everflow, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager for the Industrial Safety East Region. This remote-based role covers complex national accounts and requires travel up to 75%.

You will lead strategic initiatives, manage customer relationships, and drive growth across the East Coast market. You will develop sales plans, gain executive buy-in, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with field sales teams to secure specifications and improve margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of sales or strategic account management experience.
• Understanding of the assigned sales channel, customer buying behaviors, distribution models, and route-to-market strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% (approximately three weeks per month).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans for Speakman Safety products.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to retain and grow business.
• Gain deep understanding of each strategic account's business and metrics.
• Analyze data to develop insights for retention and revenue.
• Ensure timely responses by mobilizing cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and maintain consistent communication with relevant parties.
• Coordinate allocation of organizational resources to maximize sales opportunities.
