Job summary

IDEAL Industries, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Leader for the Motive Power West Region. You will manage key OEM relationships, drive multi-year growth plans, and align product roadmaps with customer tech cycles.

Remote role; ideally based in Texas or another western state. You will influence engineering decisions, lead pricing strategies, and maintain a robust CRM pipeline to deliver revenue growth and margin expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in strategic account management, OEM sales, or related roles.
• Proven success with large OEM accounts and long-term growth strategies.
• Experience selling electrical, power distribution, connectors, or related products.
• Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the Western United States.
• Direct experience with MHE, AGV/AMR, battery tech, charging infra, or GSE.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic relationships with West region OEM accounts as the internal advocate.
• Develop multi-year strategic plans with growth initiatives and roadmaps.
• Lead commercial negotiations to meet revenue and margin objectives.
• Maintain a healthy CRM pipeline and provide regular performance reviews.
• Influence engineering specs to secure long-term production business.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management on customer needs.
• Support partner training and conduct joint account planning sessions.
• Travel nationwide up to 50% to engage customers and partners.
