Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Store Development to lead end-to-end retail construction and renovation projects. You will coordinate with Real Estate, Store Operations, Merchandising, IT, and Finance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and brand standards across markets.

This remote role requires up to 50% travel and offers a base salary of $80,000–$130,000 per year. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in retail management or project management, strong PC skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Five years of retail management and/or five years related project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse geographies.
• PC proficient with knowledge of construction methods, permitting, ADA/code compliance.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD) and Excel.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee remodels, store refurbishments and facility maintenance projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans with timelines, budgets, scope.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Store Ops, Merchandising, IT, and Finance.
• Liaise between US Foods and architects, engineers, GCs, and external partners.
• Create capital project spend estimates and manage budgets from $5k to $1m.
• Identify risks, track progress, and report status and financial impacts.
• Lead new store builds, coordinating cross-functional workstreams.
• Ensure permits, inspections, and landlord coordination are managed.
