Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience preparing state and local tax returns and recurring tax compliance.
• Experience responding to state tax notices with organized support.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of SALT basics including income tax, sales/use tax, nexus, and indirect tax.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and supporting recurring state tax compliance processes.
• Assisting with quarterly tax provision support and audit-ready documentation.
• Responding to state tax notices and coordinating with internal teams.
• Supporting operational tax processes including licenses, annual reports, and sales tax documentation.
• Conducting tax research and summarizing findings for telecom tax environments.
