Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a State Product Associate to work remotely from anywhere in the United States (exceptions apply). You will serve as the primary contact for assigned states, ensuring products meet local regulatory requirements and market needs.

You will analyze regulatory conditions, review data for trends, and collaborate with leadership to implement compliant product changes. A strong background in insurance and 4+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience.
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.
• Understanding of insurance products.
• Strong analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to partner successfully with others.
• Ability to deliver formal presentations with support.
• Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.
• Uses research and analytical skills and ability to present to inform others on approaches to market changes and responses to legislative changes.
• Analyzes available data to identify trends and issues in assigned territory, reviewing findings with leadership.
• Performs analysis of assigned function or business area and translates findings into appropriate applications, such as process changes, informing strategy, etc.
• Works in highly consultative role and presents issues, with management support, to senior management (regularly up to Dir level).
• Supports new product implementation as the SME in the local market.
• Participates in cross-functional projects (e.g., system defects, discounts, forms, contracting changes)
