Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a State Product Associate for a remote role serving assigned states, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and product delivery in local markets. You’ll work cross-functionally to inform strategy, analyze regulatory changes, and present findings to leadership.

Requires 4 years of related experience, BA/BS or equivalent, and strong communication. This role supports remote work across the United States, excluding restricted states.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience.
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.
• Understanding of insurance products.
• Strong analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to partner successfully with others.
• Ability to deliver formal presentations with support.
• Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a primary point of contact for assigned states.
• Has an understanding of the local regulatory landscape and competition.
• With support from leader, works across the organization to successfully deliver products in compliance with local markets.
• Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.
• Uses research and analytical skills to inform approaches to market changes and responses to legislative changes.
• Analyzes data to identify trends in assigned territory and reviews findings with leadership.
• Translates findings into applications, such as process changes or informing strategy.
• Works in a consultative role and presents issues to senior management with management support.
• Supports new product implementation as the SME in the local market.
• Participates in cross-functional projects (e.g., system defects, discounts, forms, contracting changes).
