Qualifications

• Requires 4 years of related work experience.
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience included.
• Familiarity with state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.
• Understanding of insurance products.
• Strong analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to partner successfully with others.
• Ability to deliver formal presentations with support.
• Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a primary contact for assigned states and understands local regulatory landscape.
• Works with leaders and across the organization to deliver products in compliance with local markets.
• Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.
• Presents analyses to inform approaches to market changes and legislative responses.
• Analyzes data to identify trends and issues in the territory and shares findings with leadership.
• Translates analyses into process changes or strategy, with senior management input.
• Supports new product implementation as the SME in the local market.
• Participates in cross-functional projects such as system defects, discounts, forms, contracting changes.
