Courier Newsroom is hiring a State Organizing Coordinator for North Carolina and Georgia. This fully remote, full-time role supports external affairs, content production, and editorial data sharing for their newsrooms and partners.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to grow networks from cold calls to relationships.
• Comfort in public speaking roles and grassroots event interactions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce web and social media content with emphasis on mission-aligned action opportunities for audiences.
• Develop the state partnership strategy to identify and steward relationships with mission-aligned organizations and stakeholders.
• Bridge products and communities through relationship development, collaboration opportunities, events, and monetization.
