Job summary

Smartsheet, a leader in work management, seeks an Enterprise Account Executive to grow government sector revenue across WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND and SD. You will navigate complex procurement processes and lead multi-department deals.

You will partner with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to close opportunities, manage pipelines, and exceed quotas while working in-market within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full cycle sales experience, preferably in SaaS.
• Experience selling to State and Local Government agencies.
• Proven ability to manage a designated territory and exceed quotas.

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex government procurement processes and cycles.
• Respond to RFPs and RFQs with tailored proposals.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers in State and Local Government.
• Stay up-to-date on regulations and compliance in software procurement.
• Lead tailored proposals across multiple departments within agencies.
• Build sales pipeline and close business with executive stakeholders.
