Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for State/Local Government (PNW) to drive revenue across WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD. Reporting to the Regional Director, Enterprise - SLED, you will lead the sales cycle and build executive relationships.

You will navigate government procurement, respond to RFPs/RFQs, exceed quotas, and coordinate with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to close deals. Remote-friendly in the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle sales experience in a technology oriented field.
• Experience selling to State and Local Government agencies.
• B2B/enterprise sales with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex government procurement processes and cycles.
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers in State and Local Government.
• Exceed software and services sales quotas.
• Lead a solution-based sales process with multiple groups and departments.
• Manage full sales cycle and close business with 2k-10k employee accounts.
