Job summary

Smartsheet Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for State/Local Government in the Pacific Northwest. You will drive full-cycle software sales to government agencies across WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, managing complex procurement processes and building executive relationships.

You will collaborate with SEs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to close opportunities, align proposals to outcomes, and grow Smartsheet’s footprint across agencies while meeting quotas.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full cycle sales experience (prospecting to close) in a technology oriented field; SaaS preferred.
• Ideal candidate based in WA or OR.
• Experience selling to State and Local Government agencies.
• Experience maintaining customer relationships in a B2B environment.
• Ability to manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth.
• Data-driven sales approach guiding customer decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Navigate government procurement processes and cycles.
• Respond to RFPs and RFQs.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers in State and Local Government.
• Stay compliant with software procurement regulations.
• Tailor proposals to customer needs and challenges.
• Exceed software and services sales quotas.
• Manage full sales cycle with multiple groups across accounts.
