Job summary

Render is seeking a Startup Marketing Associate to oversee the day-to-day mechanics of the Startup Program and to build our SF founder-dinner motion from the ground up. You’ll curate rooms, manage events, and transform relationships into momentum for Render.

You’ll work with our Startup Program lead and Developer Relations to reach founders where they are, grow Render’s SF footprint, and drive end-to-end event execution that yields measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience across some mix of sales, partnerships, marketing, program or operations management, recruiting/talent, or developer relations.
• Deep roots in the SF startup ecosystem; you're genuinely social and a natural connector.
• Fluency in the venture landscape and understanding of the AI transformation reshaping how startups build.
• An instinct for how developers adopt tools and that developers hate being marketed to.
• High agency and strong organization; you own logistics from invite to follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Run the operational backbone of the Startup Program and own application triage, credit issuance, partner UTM tracking, and CRM hygiene across HubSpot and Airtable.
• Build and run the SF founder engine: source guest lists, manage venues, invitations, RSVPs, and day-of execution.
• Drive light event marketing and promotion: craft invitations, landing pages, follow-ups, and post-event nurture.
• Partner with Developer Relations to reach founders at scale and ensure content lands credibly with a technical crowd.
• Grow Render's footprint in the SF ecosystem by building relationships with founders, operators, accelerators, and VC platform teams.
• Close the loop on impact by tracking attendance, attribution, and conversion from event to program to customer.
